Kesha on Her First Lingerie Campaign as an Independent Artist: ‘My Whole Body Is Finally All Mine’

Kesha is feeling more like herself than ever. As the pop star continues her Freedom Tour, she’s also entering a new chapter of independence, one that has given her greater control over her music, career and even how she sees her own body.

That mindset is at the center of Kesha’s latest collaboration with Adore Me, which marks her first lingerie ad as an independent artist. The campaign features six styles from the brand’s After Hours collection, spanning lingerie, sleepwear and panties, with sizes ranging from XS to 4X and 30A to 46DDD. The pieces are all priced under $65.

For Kesha, the moment represents more than getting dressed up. “What feels sexy to me is always evolving and changing, but the thing I know is always the most attractive quality is authenticity,” she tells Billboard. “It’s the highest vibration.”

The partnership arrives during what Kesha describes as a particularly liberated period of her life. After years of fighting for greater control over her work, she says that freedom has changed how she feels in her own skin.

“I’m really loving where I’m at in life and in my body,” she says. “It’s not a coincidence that with my freedom and gaining the rights over my own voice, I also feel more autonomous, confident and free in my own body. My whole body is finally all mine.”

That sense of ownership extends to her music. During the Freedom Tour, Kesha is performing songs from across her catalog, including tracks from albums that were once difficult for her to revisit. She says she re-produced every song in her catalog for the tour, allowing her to reclaim the music on her own terms.

“I really wanted to take the power back over my catalog, both as a singer and a songwriter,” she says. “With the help of my fans, we have alchemized these painful memories into joyful memories.”

Kesha is also building Kesha Records independently, alongside her work as a songwriter, executive producer, creative director and music video director. And after everything she’s experienced, she says she’s still excited about what comes next.

“I’m more excited to be Kesha than I’ve ever been in my life,” she says.

That philosophy makes the Adore Me partnership feel like a natural extension of Kesha’s current chapter. Whether she’s reclaiming her catalog onstage, running her own record label or deciding what makes her feel confident in lingerie, she’s no longer interested in following someone else’s rulebook. She’s writing her own.
