After floods recently impacted Humphreys County, Tenn., where country music legend Loretta Lynn’s Ranch in Hurricane Mills is also located, the three-time Grammy winner is intent on helping those in her community and surrounding areas.

Lynn called on friends and fellow country artists including Garth Brooks, Luke Bryan, Luke Combs, Trisha Yearwood, and more for an upcoming benefit concert, Loretta Lynn’s Friends: Hometown Rising, set for Sept. 13 at Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry House.

Tickets for the event are on sale at and ticket prices start at $65. Proceeds from the the event will support United Way of Humphreys County. The event will also broadcast live on Circle Network at 7 p.m. CT on Sept. 13, in addition to live streaming via Circle All Access on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.

“I am so honored that so many of our friends are coming together to show so much love for our neighbors and community after such a devastating loss,” Lynn said via a statement. “You know, we’ve all needed help from time to time, and that’s why when we can give back, we do.”

On Aug. 21, the rural Tennessee area received enough rain to lead to flash flooding that devastated residences and businesses throughout the area and took the lives of 20 people — including the Lynn family’s longtime ranch hand Wayne Spears. According to the National Weather Service, nearby McEwen, Tenn. (also located in Humphreys County), recorded 17 inches of rain on Aug. 21.

Additional artists will soon be added to the Loretta Lynn’s Friends: Hometown Rising lineup.
