Broken Bow Records founder Benny Brown‘s new company is rockin’ the geological label names. Parent company Brown Sellers Brown (BSB) — co-owned by Brown, Jason Sellers and Paul Brown — announced a new Stone Country label on Jan. 24, establishing it as a sister to Quartz Hill.

Initial artists on the Stone Country roster include recent signee Easton Corbin and newcomer Ben Gallaher, who transfers from Quartz Hill, where he released his debut single in September.

Matt Galvin serves as vp of promotion and marketing for the Stone Country imprint, rising from Quartz Hill national director of promotion and marketing. The staff includes three directors of promotion: Ron Bradley, Gwen Foster and Traci Hite. Additionally, Denise Miller — named BSB Management/Quartz Hill promotion coordinator earlier in January — expands her duties to encompass Stone Country. Bradley, who will start Feb. 1, was previously Show Dog Nashville director of West Coast promotions/marketing. Foster shifts to Stone Country from BSB Management director of promotion and marketing. Hite arrives from Curb | Word Entertainment, where she was director of national promotion.

Benny Brown is the founder and former president/CEO of BBR Music Group, the Nashville indie that was acquired by BMG in 2017. Paul Brown was CFO of the label group at the time of the acquisition. Sellers is a songwriter whose credits include singles by Reba McEntire, Jason Aldean and others.
